Sporty heels from Mini Prix

Although Harper's Bazaar said sporty heels are totally out, I say the hell with it ( it only shows very expensive stuff anyway) and I'm gonna show you how to create 3 different outfits with them. As I told you before I'm a little maniac when I find clothes I like and I end up buying the same item in 2 different colours/prints. This also happened with some sporty heels I found at Mini Prix a couple of weeks ago, so I bought them in brown and also grey.
Cum v-am spus si mai demult, nu am masura atunci cand gasesc o haina care-mi place si ajung sa o cumpar in 2 exemplare in culori/printuri diferite. Asta mi s-a intamplat si acum cateva saptamani, cand am gasit botinele astea sport, asadar le-am cumparat si pe maro, si pe gri.

The first outfit is an office one, in neutral colours. I started with the dress I wore here, some brown tights(100 DEN cause it's cold outside), a beige trench and a brown collar.
Prima tinuta e una oarecum office, in culori neutre.

(dress-TCM, trench - Esprit, collar - Bershka)

I wore the second outfit at the Christmas party, hence the red pants. The white sweater was a gift and I never found a proper occasion to wear it because of it's fluffyness (it looks as if I have sheep fur at my neck and wrists), but on that day I couldn't find a better way to express the warmth and sheer joy of the holidays. It wasn't that cold outside, so I put my leather jacket on and added a touch of chicness (searched it in the dictionary, it's a real word :p) with an animal print beret.

(pants - Stradivarius; beret - bought at a random fair)

For the last one I mixed both feminine and masculine, creating a playful outfit I can wear at school. I rolled up my boyfriend jeans, so that my boots were seeable, but added a marilyn monroe tee and a fur vest.

(jeans - Miss Sixty; tee - Bershka; fur vest - Promod; cardigan - Reserved)

As you can see, it's pretty easy to mix and match these boots, especially because they have different shades of brown and you can add simpler pieces. I personally prefer to wear brown with either red and off-white/beige, or with dark blue/purple/kaki.
Stay tuned 'cause in my next post I will show you another 3 ways to wear sporty heels, this time the grey ones.

  2. I love all these looks! I hate the "in and out" lists in magazines...I think if you mix anything the right way it will always be "in"!!
I love all these outfits...and I love the shoes!
