DARE to be Absolutely Fabulous

On my way to the Absolutely Fabulous Fashion & Vintage Fair 10th Edition, Catalin Opritescu stops me on the stairs and takes this beautiful photo he called "DARE" ... I wonder if the leopard boots were the inspiration for this title ;)

 In drum spre Targul Absolutely Fabulous Nr. 10, Catalin Opritescu m-a oprit pe scari si mi-a facut poza asta superba pe care el a denumit-o "INDRAZNESTE" .. Ma intreb daca botinele mele leopard l-au determinat sa puna titlul asta ;)

Later on, let there be chaos :) Everyone taking everyone's  picture, big group pictures, smaller group pictures, one-on-one pictures.. It took as about an hour to settle down :) You already know Raluca & Sil, Oliviana ( I forgot to tell you how much I adored your outfit, darling!), Andreea ( wanna trade my boots for you skirt for a day? yes, I know they're not your size ;)) and the colourful Laura, who I met for the first time.

 Putin mai tarziu a fost haos :) Fiecare facea poze fiecareia, poze de grupuri mari, poze de grupuri mici, poze doi cate doi.. A durat cam o ora sa ne potolim :) Deja le recunoasteti din poza pe Raluca & Sil, Oliviana ( am uitat sa-ti spun cat de mult mi-a placut tinuta ta!), Andreea ( vrei sa facem un schimb pt o zi? iti dau botinele, imi dai fusta :D da, stiu ca porti mai putin ca mine la pantofi ;)) si pe colorata Laura, pe care am intalnit-o pt prima oara.

I finally met Costin ( it was for the first time, really, we just happened to have matchy-matchy outfits :) ) and Smaranda (who took our picture). // In sfarsit i-am cunoscut si pe Costin ( pe bune ca ne-am vazut pt prima data, nu va incredeti in dungile noastre asortate:) )  si pe Smaranda (care ne-a facut poza).

As for the outfit photos, Andreea was kind enough (thank you again!!) to make like 20 pictures in one minute, with me spinning around and changing my position every 2 seconds. It' speed century, baby!

Pozele cu tinuta mi le-a facut Andreea (ms din nou!!), a turnat 20 de poze intr-un minut, si m-a pus sa schimb pozitia la cate 2 secunde, m-am invartit pe loc.. ce mai, secolul vitezei!

How to create boho braids

This summer, Oana and me visited Chic Salon and in a couple of hours we learned how to make boho braids and bows out of our own hair. These hairstyles are an alternative for pony tails and buns when the weather is hot and you can't wear your hair down. I will also wear them this fall for my 70's hippie inspired outfits.

În această vară, Oana şi cu mine am vizitat Salonul Chic şi in vreo 2 ore am invatat cum se fac impletituri boho şi fundite din propriul par. Aceste coafuri sunt o alternativa pentru cozile simple sau cocuri atunci când e ft cald şi nu poti purta parul desprins. Am de gand sa port astfel de impletituri si in toamna asta, ca accesoriu pt tinutele hippie inspirate din anii '70.

 

 

 

The second one is my favourite because it creates fake bangs, and I can tell you it's pretty easy to make ( I tried it at home by watching the tutorial on Divahair.ro)

A doua coafura e preferata mea - creeaza un breton fals :) Va asigur ca nu e grea deloc, am refacut-o si eu acasa, singura, uitandu-ma la tutorialul Divahair.ro.

Back in the days

After a full first half of year, I finally took 2 weeks off to visit my grandmas. I will also spend some time by the seaside at the end of the week - I'm now praying for good weather! 

As both my grandmas live in the countryside, I took some nature pictures  I will show you soon but no outfit ones.. So, here are some old photos, back in the days I was studying at school, feeling tired and overwhelmed.

Glad those days are over :) Now I gotta run and play with 4 kittens yeeeeey. Have I told you I'm a huge CAT lover?

Dupa o prima jumatate de an foarte plina, mi-am luat in sfarsit 2 saptamani de concediu pentru a-mi vizita bunicile. La sfarsitul saptamanii voi pleca la mare - Doamne ajuta sa fie vreme buna! 

Cum ambele bunici stau la tara, am facut cateva poze cu natura, dar nici una cu vreo tinuta .. Deci, azi va arat câteva fotografii vechi, facute pe vremea cand invatam pt licenta si ma simteam obosita si copleşita. Ma bucur ca am trecut peste perioada aia :) Acum tre' sa fug sa ma joc cu 4 pui de pisica. V-am spus pana acum cat de mult iubesc pisicile?

It's all about florals

This summer I bought more items with floral prints than in my entire life :) This vintage dress is my favourite right now, altough it's three sizes bigger, I tied the cord around my waist and it now has a shape.

În această vară mi-am cumpărat mai multe haine cu imprimeu floral decat in toata viata mea:) Rochia asta vintage este preferata mea acum, deşi e cu vreo 3 masuri mai mare, i-am legat cordonul in jurul taliei şi i-am dat o forma.
